Ars Technica is reporting that an M$ mole has given them some inside knowledge. The soon to be obsolete HD-DVD add-on of for the Xbox is dropping from $119.99 to $49.99. You may ask why buy now? Well, if you couple the price drop with the fact that you can get 5 free HD-DVD’s by mail, your essentially getting 5 HD quality movies for under $10 each plus a free external CD/DVD/HD-DVD drive that you can use on you PC. Plus who knows, you can probably cash in on everyone dumping their hd-dvd’s and pick them up for a song.
