The Gentlemen Radio Episode 11: Big Posse in Little Spanish Fort

Play

It is that time again when the Gentlemen Radio comes at you with truth, justice and jokes about anatomy that suggests their maturity level hovers somewhere between 12 years old and completely non-existent. This becomes a bit more prickly (heh) when they are tackling the issues of sexism in gaming and hostility in the multi-player space with special guest Susan of Razotrbladesammich but I think everyone knows they mean well. At least until Street Fighter comes up and tempers start to flare. Hadoken indeeed. Next up the Gentlemen (and Lady) head into the not at all contentious waters of PC vs Console gaming and then Susan takes us to the finish line when we talk about the life of a game blogger. All that and the Gentlemen’s recommendations on this sparkling new episode of the Gentlemen Radio.

So glad you guys finally brought a lady in to make it a little less of a sausage fest. Susan was an awesome addition. It’s a shame you couldn’t cover how more and more people are thinking about trying to enforce the removal of anonymity on anyone that harasses others on the internet.

Although I’m not personally a fan of Southland Tales, I will say that if you like it you might like Alex Cox’s (of Repo Man and Sid & Nancy) The Revenger’s Tragedy from 2002. It’s another super-stylized futuristic film- but based on a Jacobian play. Oh, and Eddie Izzard is in it.
