TMoNews scooped a marketing flyer from T-Mobile extolling the virtues of the upcoming “myTouch HD“, a phone so spec’ed out on paper that we want to either marry it, or be seriously concerned about it’s battery life. Highlights include:
- HSPA+ (4G) Support
- “Screen Share” (Possibly referring to mini-HDMI out?)
- “Driving Mode”, Phone will read out text messages to you, simplified interface for quick access while in car, etc.
- 1Ghz Dual-Core processor
- Android 2.2
- 3.8″ Screen
- QWERTY Keyboard & Swype Support
- 5MP Back Camera (Flash & Auto focus)
- VGA Front Camera
- 4GB Internal RAM, 8GB Removable Included (expandable up to 32GB)
We didn’t expect dual-core phones this quickly, Qualcomm just announced the 1.5Ghz dual-core chips a few months back and it looks like T-Mobile already had things lined up. We wonder if the ones T-Mobile is shipping are down-clocked from 1.5Ghz to 1Ghz because of battery life issues and if we can expect overclocking utilities for rooted phones like we saw on the original Motorola Droid.
Either way the phone looks loaded, but no ETA on this leak, so we could be looking at a 2011 device here. We will keep you posted.
