I think we can all agree that Rihanna is a good looking woman… she’s pretty much the opitome of “pop star” — good looking, tallented, no personal drama, no demons in her closet like drugs or alcohol… she does her thing, and we buy her CDs.
Rihanna has been dating Chris Brown for a while now, that is this chap:
Now let me ask you something… when you are out on a date, maybe on your way to the Grammy’s, and your boyfriend – Chris Brown – decides to lay into you and beat the shit out of you in the car until you are unrecognizable and have to stagger out of the car just to get away from him… to the point that you look like this:
What do you do? That’s right… you declare your love for him. See, that’s what a lot of women don’t understand… sometimes they need a beat-down.
When you are a successful, strong woman with a career and possibly even children, what you need to do is fine a life-sucking piece of shit that will pull you down to the bowels of Anus with drugs, child abuse and physical abuse — and then you do everything in your power to keep him — even if that means loosing your career, almost loosing your children and battling drug addiction for the rest of your life.
Because, that’s love.
What Rihanna just found out, and what Whitney Houston always knew, is that a good man will take you to dinner, buy you presents and talk with you… but a great man will bust your lip when you step out of line or if you just needed to get checked.
I hope Rihanna goes to see Chris in jail and their love blossoms… I honestly cannot see a bad side-effect coming from him eventually getting out of prison, and them still being together, and him blaming her for his incaceration and eventually taking it out on her in an alcohol-fueled beat-down in their Hollywood estate together… god knows she’ll deserve it for being supportive of him.
So thumbs up to true love! Everyone reading this, go find your significant other and punch them in the face, and let them know that you care!
