It looks like the CW network will be airing a new show that goes by the little-known-name of Beverly Hills 90210.
That’s right folks, they are bringing back Beverly drama!
The new show is also going to include the 3 original actresses that played Brenda (Shannen Doherty), Blonde Girl who wasn’t Brenda (Jennie Garth) and Titsy McDownsyndome (Tori Spelling).
Word on the street is that Doherty and Garth didn’t used to get along on the original show back in the early 90s and ended up getting into some scraps; there is some concern from the producers that the two might not hit it off again, turning the show into an embaressing pile of sh… WOOPS, too late!
No word yet on status of the male characters coming back to the show but I have to guess that Jason Priestly’s non-stop TV/drama bit-pieces aren’t keeping him too busy and Ian Ziering’s big hit as Chase Huffington in Episode 1 of Adult Swim’s animated cartoon Drawn Together doesn’t have him tied down to anything critical and Brian Austin Green is a shoe-in after he lost his reason for existing.
Luke Perry is a wildcard… but Dillon always was, that’s why he was so dreamy. His slew of straight-to-video movies might have him swimming in royalties that he just doesn’t know what to do with, but I have a feeling if the producers dangle a “3 hot meals a day” carrot infront of him, he’d do it.
