As a big fan of Netflix I’ve always been annoyed since the Watch-it-Now service first launched (before it was renamed 3x), had a ton of Triple-A titles, then immediately cut them all… I’m guessing due to licensing with the studios.
Fortunately it looks like Netflix has inked deals with NBC, Starz and a few others, helping increase the Watch Instantly lineup.
After clicking through and checking the Starz Play list of movies, I have to say that the Watch Instantly service from Netflix just got about 20x more interesting, finally getting back some of the classic favorites that I’ve been missing like:
- No Country of Old Men
- Gone Baby Gone
- Ratatouille
- Superbad
- Grindhouse
- L.A. Confidential
- Silence of the Lambs
- Happy Gilmore
- Alien/Aliens
- etc.
