If you are still enjoying the virtual New York City that Rockstar created for us in Grand Theft Auto IV, or you never played it and are thinking of picking it up dirt-cheap on the PC, I might point you at the newly released “ENBSeries” graphics mod by Vorontsov Boris.
With the odd name and sparse “what is this” information on the homage page, it is hard to tell what ENBSeries actually does. Looking through the documentation it looks like quite a bit of lower-level rendering enhancements. From what I can gather it is a set of custom shaders applied to the GTA IV rendering process to spruce things up with improved effects… or something, who knows, it makes the game look amazing.
