50% off WooTheme Valentine's Discount Until February 19th

WooThemes is running a 50% off Valentine’s Day special that existing customers can “give” to others via Email (it allows Woo to collect potential marketing leads). Regardless of the motivation, it’s 50% off.

So if you were in the market for a WordPress or Expression Engine theme and like one of the WooThemes you see in their gallery, just leave a comment with your email address and I’ll send you the 50% off coupon.

We’ve been customers of Woo for a few years now and really like their work and support.

The theme running on this blog is about a year and a half old and had 30 updates released in that time with updates and advancements. They continue to keep even older themes current with their new platform and technology additions which is a great value-add for folks wanting to make sure they can keep their themes up to date.

As an example, this theme would run you $70 normally, but you’d only pay $35 until February 19th.

      Dee, 50% off code sent!

I’ve not had any issues with the SEO-ness of the WooThemes. I’ve always had All-In-One-SEO-Pack installed and that pretty much took care of those needs. Beyond that it’s just an issue of picking good keywords, categories and titles I suppose.

    Interested in the 50% coupon!

Also, have you done any extensive customizations? We may want to really tweak look/feel; do we get all the files that we need, i.e., PHP/CSS files?

    Many thanks,

    Toma

      Toma,

Coupon sent! We’ve done a bit of customization to both our original WooTheme and the new one we just rolled out yesterday.

For the “Standard” packages yes you get all the PHP/CSS/JavaScript, if you get the “Developer” package you also get the PSD source files from Photoshop that were used to create the theme if you had some heavy graphical edits in mind. We’ve never needed that because frankly we aren’t artistic.

WooThemes actually integrates a good amount of Ad and Tracking code configuration elements into their universal WooFramework admin panel in the theme page, so for a lot of the “necessary” customizations everyone does, you never need to look at PHP.

If you are doing CSS customizations they ship a custom.css out of the box that is indended exclusively for your own edits that won’t be overwritten when a new version of the theme comes out.

Little things like that really makes their stuff top notch.
