360 Version of Team Fortress 2 Still Getting Updates

Kotaku Reports that owners of Team Fortress 2 on the Xbox 360 will be receiving all the updates released on the PC by the end of the year.  The update will include all the new maps, unlockable weapons and class specific achievements, already seen on the PC.

Valve marketing director Doug Lombardi, confirmed at Leipzig that they decided to wait until they had enough content that they could offer at one price. That’s right, the update that’s 100% free PC will cost you some Microsoft points. While Valve hasn’t come up with a price point just yet, they’re trying to get it out for as low as ten dollars.

My advice to anyone planning on buying this update? Don’t. Come up with another ten bucks and buy the PC version already, you’ll enjoy all of the fantastic updates for free and you’ll have a huge community of people to play with.

Thanks Kotaku!

I love TF2 (and all of The Orange Box) but this is too late for me. With all the great games coming out soon I don’t see myself putting TF2 back in. If the DLC were to be free I’d play it for a week maybe, but I’m not going to be buying it.

Exactly. It’s insanely weird for Valve to be releasing this update for a fee considering they’re such advocates of free updates and content.

I can only take a guess here and say that they couldn’t resist the tempting profit that might be made. Unfortunately for Valve I think this wont be the ‘must-have’ DLC they think it would be.

There is limited animal and human study of green tea as a protective agent of skin from ultraviolet light skin injury. Some study results conflict. Comparisons have not been made with well-established forms of sun protection such as ultraviolet protective sunscreen. The effects of green tea on skin damage caused by the sun remain unclear.
